“Candy China 2007” officially begins the International Market

Webb Candy, a candy brand from USA and Beryl’s, a wonderful chocolate brand from Malaysia, have registered as exhibitors of “Candy China 2007” as other international candy and chocolate brands; The Guangzhou enterprises Association for foreign economic cooperation has join the “Candy China” to be one of the organizer. Then the work of international market of “Candy China 2007” has been officially on.
We have the decision of entering on the international market for the responses of our participants and the sustaining research of the candy development in China. Although we did receive a lot on inviting international purchasers for “Candy China 2006” and 1/3 of our exhibitors got their international order form, the whole scale of international purchasers was not balanceable. So The Organizing Committee pay much more attention on the international market for purchasers and exhibitors for the “Candy China 2007”.
The work of organizing the international market for “Candy China 2007” has been on early on September. The international department was set up on the early of September and at the same time, the charge of the international department met its first clients in Shanghai: German Confectionery Association, Italian confectionery Association, Singapore Food Manufacturers Association, National Confectioners Association, etc, all of them show their interest in “Candy China 2007”.
Dec. the charge of International Department visit the greatest fair in China: Canton Fair, for promotion of “Candy China” to candy and chocolate manufacturers from all over the world and sincerely invite them to participate in the greatest candy and chocolate trade show in Asia on Aug, 2007---“Candy China 2007”.
Nov., the charge of the International Department was invited to participate in the “LOCATION Switzerland” Conference in China Hotel in Guangzhou. At the tea-break, the charge of the International Department of “Candy China” and Mr. Thomas Holenstein, Chief Representative of Swiss Foreign Investment Agency for China have agreed on the “Candy China” and “China Chocolate Peak 2007”, Mr. Thomas Holenstein would like to have a cooperation between the Swiss confectionery industry, especially the chocolate industry, and China candy and chocolate industry on the “Candy China 2007”, and would like to participate the first china chocolate summit—China Chocolate Peak 2007” if it is possible.
Nov., the charge of the International Department of “Candy China” has had a detailed discussion with many international candy and chocolate association for the cooperation: Swiss Chocosuisse, Belgium Chocolate Association, Italian Confectionery Association, Brazil Cocoa. Chocolate and Confectionery Manufacturers Association, ICA (International Confectionery Association), Japan Chocolate and Cocoa Association, Korea Chocolate and Cocoa Association, etc, they all show their interest and appreciated the “Candy China”.
Dec., the charge of the International Department of “Candy China” was invited to meet Ms Bai, the chief of the Food Department of French Trade Commission In Guangzhou, discussing the cooperation. Ms Bai insisted that French candy and chocolate brand would like to enter the china market and wished the “Candy China” would be their guide and sincere commercial partner in China and the Food Association in French would like to inform the related companies in French to participate in “Candy China 2007”.
End on Dec., “Candy China” has got in touch with more than 15 international professional medias and 《Candy Industry》、《Candy Buyer》、《Candy Business》《Food & Beverage》、《Asian Food Journal》、《Asian Food Industry》etc have agreed on the cooperation with “Candy China 2007”, assisting the world promotion for “Candy China 2007”, then “Candy China” begins its international market-battle officially.
Recently, “Candy China” and Guangzhou Enterprises Association for Foreign Economic Cooperation have agreed on the cooperation, working together to organize the international exhibitors and purchasers. As a plan “Candy China” will visit officially chamber of commerce in Guangzhou for assistance in “Candy China”.
